As Bitcoin closes out the month of April and enters into May, what are we focusing on?

Well, it seems resistance at $79,322.81 is proving to be more of a pain in the butt than we ever hoped for.

The good news?

Bitcoin has hit this major resistance 3 times in the past 10 days, making it weaker each time! The 22nd of April, 27th of April, and the 1st of May to be exact!

With Bitcoin’s price reaching the area of $79,322.81 on the 22nd of April, 27th of April, and the 1st of May, this could be positive.

By doing so, we have a bullish cup and handle formation that could be taking shape!

Let’s say this formation is successful, what is the date range that we are anticipating a strong movement?

📅 Keep an eye on the 5th to the 8th of May!

This allows time for Bitcoin to potentially pullback to ~$77,000 and recover through $79,322.81.

🔮 WHAT TO ANTICIPATE

As stated in last Saturday’s newsletter . . .

The potential became reality as Bitcoin broke below $77,000 and even broke the key area of $75,991.99.

Thankfully, Bitcoin has since then recovered but for how long?

📈 BULLISH SCENARIO

The cup and handle formation that is in its initial stage could prove fruitful for Bitcoin’s price.

Well, at least we hope so . . .

It is imperative that Bitcoin hold above $75,991.99 this upcoming week as each time it draws near it makes the support line weaker!

We are making the same wager going into this week. If Bitcoin can hold the $77,000 area, then we are confident that breaking above $79,322.81 is next.

📉 BEARISH SCENARIO

Bearish scenario in one sentence . . . Bitcoin goes to $0 and we all hop on the Pokémon train haha!

In all seriousness, our concern is that Bitcoin is once again rejected at $79,322.81.

Each time that Bitcoin is rejected at this level, it provides ammo to the bears and makes them want to bet heavier against Bitcoin increasing in price.

If rejected, it would not be a far stretch that Bitcoin could approach $73,619.30 in the next 7-10 days.

👀 WATCH FOR THIS NEXT

We are confident that Bitcoin will show us if it wants to be bullish or not within the next week.

At the same time, it will show us if it wants to be bearish in the same timeframe.

Bitcoin is in a sideways consolidation between $75,991.99 and $79,322.81 and we don’t believe that will be long lived.

🧠 OUR OVERALL THOUGHTS

Many crypto enthusiasts have taken the back seat and are watching from afar.

Let’s think about it . . . the bull cycle has passed, and we have 3 years to go until we reach the next “4-year bull cycle.”

But maybe, just maybe, Bitcoin will be pursuing $100,000 before the end of 2026 which would break this cycle.

Bitcoin is ~$20,000 away from this milestone, and if we know anything about Bitcoin, when it wants to move . . . it moves!
